Combustion air blower is turned on and process limits are controlled by external circuitry (see wiring). At power on the device per forms a selftest and displays messages if system failures are
detected. Once the equipment has been successfully tested, the device waits for manual startup (standby mode) or starts prepurge time (autostart mode) depending on the selected configuration.
A ame detection or simulation during prepurge time leads to lockout condition. If a stable flame has been detected the burner is regularly ignited. If the burner does not ignite within the safety
time the system locks out.
- retry the ignition immediately (respark)
- restart a complete cycle again (recycle)
- wait for reset (lockout).
- retry the ignition immediately (respark)
- pushing the front panel button, manual shutdown
- remote communication command (remote halt)
- Internal timer (if enabled).
Jet 01 is a specialised extension board to be installed into QUAD burner control unit. In addition to QUAD Jet 01 shows the following features:
- Remote burner reset after previous lockout
- Thermostat control input (burner ON/OFF)
- Burner pause input (forcing to purge)
- Aux 2nd stage input
- Burner LOCKOUT
- Burner ON
- Burner OFF
- NO SPST contact
- NC SPST contact
These contacts are overlapping (3 seconds) and the control from Aux inputs will be available only when the burner is properly running. |
